I was fascinated with art in Jr. High and High School, but was persuaded by my biological mother to drop it as I went on to a "real" career that would make money. Unfortunately money was a decisive factor for college since I grew up in poverty... so I left art behind. Like most skill sets - if you don't practice them, they tend to dull. I would like to pick it up again, but I rarely get the time to do a single sketch, let alone the work required for such an aspiration. I was hoping that posting some charcoal sketches (done SLOWLY in the last few years) would encourage some desires for skill development, but it's not looking good... <smirk>
